Re-Gift Trivia on November 19 at The Sanford Wine Company

November 18, 2009 by thetriviatart

Hello Trivia Fans! Hope you’ve been looking through all the stuff you don’t want and selecting that special item you’ll bring to trivia tomorrow night. That’s right, it’s the first ever re-gift trivia event. The Trivia Tart will take your gently used yet unwanted treasures and use them as the prizes for tomorrow’s games. Here are the rules for your re-gifts:

  • Your item must be small enough to fit in a copy paper box. If you don’t work in an office and find that description confusing, your are limited to shoe box sized items.
  • You must not bring total junk, so leave trashed stuff at home. It can be hideous and ugly, but it must be in good condition.
  • You must not bring anything that you would not be willing to talk about with your grandma. The Tart does not want to handle your private affairs.
  • You must be willing to help The Tart haul your item across the street to the Goodwill if no one selects your re-gift as their prize.

Need more clarification? Just e-mail The Tart.

Now for the clues…

  1. If you were a baseball legend and you were memorialized by a shrine in a video store in Grove, Oklahoma, who would you be?
  2. NASCAR and country music go hand in hand, it seems. Which particular NASCAR driver does Kenny Chesney sing about?
  3. Round 4 will have several questions about gents from across the pond. Ugly Rumors, anyone?

See you tomorrow night!

Tonight at 8:00: The Sanford Wine Company

November 5, 2009 by thetriviatart

Here are your clues for trivia tonight:

Round 1: John of John and Kate plus 8 has been much mocked recently for, among other things, his fashion choices. He’s said to be working with Christian Audigier to design a clothing line. Mr. Audigier is already quite famous for designing clothing based on which famous tattoo artist’s designs?

Round 2: All things Italian! The Trivia Tart developed a deep love for gelato while in Italy. You’d be wise to check out the differences between gelato and the ice cream we eat in North America, and really in the rest of the world.

Round 4: During the presidential campaign in 1828, this guy was called a jackass so frequently that the donkey became the symbol for the democratic party. Who was he?

See you tonight!
