August 19 @ The Sanford Wine Company!

August 17, 2010

Hello Trivia Fans,

The Tart is very much looking forward to trivia this week. Dan the Man did a great job earlier this month, but The Tart has missed the great crowd at the Sanford Wine Company and can’t wait to be back! The Tart’s birthday is the day before trivia, so brace yourselves for questions about August, birthdays, and perhaps The Tart herself! Here are some more specific clues (you’ll notice a strange green theme, not sure why!):

What is green, associated with August birthdays and found in meteorites?

K2 or Mt Everest–which is more treacherous?

Also called “la manzana del invierno” this delight is green inside and makes a diabolically good dip. Is it a vegetable or a fruit?

See everyone Thursday—bring your friends and remember to treat your bar staff and your Trivia Tart as good as they treat you.

Trivia this week! Sanford Wine Co! 8:00!

August 3, 2010

Hello Trivia Fans! Dan the Man is taking the Tart’s place this week at The Sanford Wine Company (The Tart, while very saddened to miss trivia, has a fabulous opening to attend for her business, Bon Bon Studios). He’s sent some clues to share with you:

Oregon has the highest percentage of residents (25 percent) with no religious affiliation, while Mississippi has the lowest percentage. Only 6 percent of Mississippians claim no religious affiliation.

Researchers at the University of Louisville have concluded that red-headed females need up to 20 percent more anesthesia than other females.

A survey by the New York Times reveals that starting left tackles in the NFL earn more on average than all other positions except quarterback.

Show Dan the Man your support and turn up at 8:00 for a great night of trivia. The Tart will be back with you August 17.

Please remember to take good care of The Wine Company Crew as well as your trivia host. They work hard to give you a great night of entertainment!
